The more I read, the more it actually seems that Jesus the Christ performed at least SOME sort of Reiki.  The examples of his healings listed in the Bible generally involve a "laying on of hands".  See the following examples from the New King James Version (Red Letter Edition; Family Reference Edition):

Luke 4:40  When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them.

Luke 5:12-13  And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."  Then He put out HIs hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed."  Immediately the leprosy left him. (See Mark 1:40-42)

Luke 7: 12-15 And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow.  And a large crowd from the city was with her.  When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on hr and said to her, "Do not weep." Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still.  And He said, "Young man, I say to you, arise."  So he who was dead sat up and began to speak.  And He presented him to his mother.

Luke 8: 49-55 While He was still speaking, someone came from the ruler of the synagogue's house saying to him, "Your daughter is dead.  Do not trouble the Teacher."  But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, "Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well."  When He came into the house, He permitted no one to go in except Peter, James, and John, and the father and mother of the girl.  Now all wept, and mourned for her; but He said, "Do not weep; she is not dead, but sleeping.  And they ridiculed Him, knowing that she was dead.  But He put them all outside, took her by the hand and called, saying, "Little girl, arise."  Then her spirit returned, and she arose immediately.  And he commanded that she be given something to eat.

Matthew 8: 14-15 Now when Jesus had come into Peter's house, He saw his wife's mother lying sick with a fever.  So He touched her hand, and the fever left her.  And she arose and served them.

Matthew 20: 29-34 Now as they went out of Jericho, a great multitude followed Him.  And behold, two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying, "Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!"  Then the multitude warned them tha they should be quiet; but they cried out all the more, saying, "Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!"  So Jesus stood still and called them, and said, "What do you want Me to do for you?"  They said to Him, "Lord, that our eyes may be opened."  So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes.  and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.

Mark 1: 40-42 Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, "If you are willing, You can make me clean."  Then Jesus, moved with compassion, and stretched out  His hand and touched him, and said to him, "I am willing; be cleansed"  As soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.  (See Luke 5: 12-13)

Mark 7: 32-35 Then they brought to Him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech, and they begged Him to put His hand on him.  And He took him aside from the multitude, and put His fingers in his ears, and He spat and touched his tongue.  Then, looking up to heaven, He sighed, and said to him, "Ephphatha," that is, "Be opened."  Immediately his ears were openend, and the impediment of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly.

Mark 8: 22-25 Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him to touch him.  So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town.  And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything.  And he looked up and said, "I see men like trees, walking."  The He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up.  And he was restored and saw everyone clearly.

A very good site for Christians involved with Reiki is www.christianreiki.org.  It contains an article by William Lee Rand regarding Jesus and Reiki, as well as other articles and information for Christians who might be interested in Reiki, but are not sure that it is compatible with Christianity.
